Athlete Training by Marlene Kirsh
This program is a Pilates-based core workout that also incorporates cardio interval training. It is designed to help athletes build a stronger, leaner body, while at the same time increase endurance and flexibility and reduce the prevalence of injuries. It is a challenging, strenuous workout that will help athletes achieve overall better performance.
Marlene Kirsh, a certified Pilates instructor, has developed her own method of teaching Pilates mat classes utilizing weights, bands, and Pilates rings, Marlene has trained professional, college and high school athletes, including varsity athletic teams at Molloy College and NYIT. She also has taught at Friends Academy, Portledge School, Sportshub in Syosset, and offers in-home private and semi-private classes.
